Dr. Prasad completed his MBBS from LTMMC, Sion Hospital, Mumbai, and earned his DNB in Neurosurgery from Lilavati Hospital. He is also a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), New Delhi, and has pursued fellowships in Minimal Access Spine Surgery and Craniovertebral Junction Surgery in Mumbai.

Dr. Prasad has gained international exposure as a Visiting Fellow in Neurosurgery in Japan. He serves as a Board Member of the International Society of Neurosurgical Technology and Instrument Invention (ISNTii) and is an Executive Committee Member of the Neuro Spinal Surgeons Association (NSSA), India. Additionally, he holds the position of Treasurer at both the Bombay Neuro Spine Association and the Academy for Advancing Neurosciences.

Dr. Prasad's dedication to neurosurgery has earned him numerous accolades, including multiple Best Resident Paper Awards from esteemed institutions such as the Bombay Neurosciences Association, Lilavati Hospital, and NSSA. His research contributions have been recognized nationally, further establishing him as a leading figure in neurosurgery.
