Health Tips

Benefits of Muskmelon

Benefits of Muskmelon
1.Is beneficial to be consumed during conditions like Lack of appetite, Weight loss, Urinary tract infections, Constipation, Acidity, Ulcer.

2. Great substitute for high calorie snacks and can aid in losing weight healthily.
3.Can help control blood pressure and can prevent the risk of strokes.
4.Also reduce the problem of developing kidney stones.
5.The folic acid present in muskmelons helps create healthy fetuses (in pregnant women) and can even prevent cervical cancer and osteoporosis.
6.Muskmelon is a good source of vitamin C, which is an anti-oxidant. It contains Vitamin A, which is useful in maintaining healthy skin.
Effects of Carbonated

Effects of Carbonated drinks are one of the biggest contributing factors to tooth erosion in young children. The acid in carbonated drinks strips the surface enamel of teeth, causing pain, disfigurement and in extreme cases eroding teeth ...down to mere stumps, leading to tooth loss. This acid is present in both regular and diet products. In addition to the acids formed by bacteria in the mouth when they feed on sugar, most carbonated beverages contain phosphoric acid, citric acid or carbonic acid. All of these can erode tooth enamel. The calcium in saliva works to remineralize teeth after exposure to small amounts of this eroding acid, but with the increased consumption of drinks, it’s simply not enough. While it does help to drink soft drinks through a straw to keep acid away from tooth enamel, an even better alternative is to reduce or eliminate their consumption and drink water or milk instead.

Simple Hygiene Tip:

Prevent Acne by washing your face twice a day. Do not wash too vigorously, even if the skin is oily. Trying to scrub off the oil will just leave the skin cracked and irritated.
Let your skin breathe and feel fresh!

Nuts:

Eating nuts as a part of the healthy diet can be good for your heart as they help in lowering the “bad cholesterol” in your blood. Even though most fat in nuts is healthy fat, it still has a lot of calories. Just make sure they are not covered in chocolate, sugar or salt.

Cold and Flu

Tips to avoid Cold and Flu
It seems that nearly everyone catches a cold or flu.

1.Avoid Sugar
2.Get enough Sleep
3.Don’t Overeat

You are far more likely to catch it by touching a contaminated surface, such as a doorknob.
